Since joining EY in 2008, Takashi Ajita has provided a wide range of transfer pricing services including risk analysis, transfer price documentation, advance pricing agreements (APA), and transfer pricing tax audit/mutual agreement compliance to Japanese and foreign-affiliated corporations.
In 2013, he was seconded to the EY Frankfurt Office where he worked in the Transfer Pricing Department of the Japan Business Services (JBS) group and provided Japanese companies in Germany with a range of transfer pricing services. He also developed a program of transfer pricing workshops and seminars in Germany and other European cities.
On his return to Tokyo in 2015, he resumed transfer pricing services with a focus on clients in the pharmaceutical, medical equipment, automobile, components, and chemical industries. Since then, his role has broadened to include tax advisory services, including tax operations support and supply chain/tax optimization.
Building a better working world
”I provide our multinational clients with the international tax services and support to grow and to achieve their goals.
As my clients are dealing with constant changes to the business environment and the tax systems of each country where they operate, being a good listener and communicator is key to my understanding of their differing needs.
This allows me to leverage the EY global network to propose tax advisory services and bespoke solutions tailored to the industry and individual circumstances of each company, and to support their overseas expansion.”
