Keiichi Ushijima is the EY Asia-Pacific ESG and Sustainability Solution Leader and the EY Japan Climate Change and Sustainability Services Leader. He is a board member of Japan Forum of Business and Society, Japan’s ESG Disclosure Study Group, and a member of the Strategic Advisory Board, Erb Institute, University of Michigan. He was previously a member of Central Environmental Council, Ministry of the Environment, Japan, and part-time Faculty, Tohoku University.
He holds a Master of Business Administration, Keio University.
How Keiichi is building a better working world
Keiichi’s vision is to see the emergence of the next generation of capitalism through building a sustainable society and sustainable businesses. He believes that we can do this by demonstrating good practices in cooperation with EY clients. Currently, our services focus on proving the case for sustainability for companies as well as society. More and more, we see that sustainability issues are being integrated into finance, business management and public policy. He believes that building good businesses helps us to build a better working world, and that EY CCaSS can take leadership.
