EY Japan, together with Nikkei SUM Series Team and the Fintech Association of Japan(NPO), is pleased to announce the release of the “FIN/SUM 2021 Online Ideathon Post-event Report”.
EY Japan, together with Nikkei Inc. and the Fintech Association of Japan(NPO), participated in the planning and holding Japan's first public-private partnership ideathon(*), with the Japan FSA as an observer in a project team.
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire process including planning, operation, and presentation was conducted completely online, using interactive whiteboard tools.
The report overview:
- The significance and challenges of holding Japan's first public-private partnership ideathon with the Japan FSA as an observer in completely online under the environment of the pandemic, along with expectations for the future.
- Contains an insightful interview with Mr. Akira Nozaki, a Director of the FinTech and Innovation Office of the Japan FSA.
- Shares outcomes of this ideathon, and the ideas and solutions that were generated through this event.
The project team have published a post-event report, hoping that it will contribute to raising awareness of this kind of public-private initiative and build momentum for the future.
Release of the English version is planned for 8 July 2021.
