We have more than 20 years of experience delivering sustainability and ESG-related services to clients around the world. As momentum for achieving SDGs accelerates, EY Japan provides services addressing areas such as biodiversity and human rights across the entire supply chain, as well as our longstanding core service offering of climate change and sustainability services (CCaSS). Human Capital Support

In the modern business environment, a company’s management and market value are greatly affected by not only its financial performance, but also its non-financial value such as its people, brand power and social impact. There is increasing focus on human capital as a source of sustainable growth. EY teams, who have practical and up-to-date knowledge in this area, provide integrated human capital-related services that focus on four areas: human capital visualization, reskilling, building an autonomous marketplace where middle-aged and older employees can thrive, and change management.

Real-Time Audits Driving the Future of Audit

In March 2023, Ernst & Young ShinNihon LLC implemented the full-scale rollout of Real-Time Connect, which is one of the core components of Assurance 4.0, next-generation auditing methodology. Real-Time Connect maintains a constant connection with a client’s IT systems and can carry out financial analysis and identify risks on a timely basis. It will be used to realize real-time auditing that makes use of the latest digital technologies, including anomaly detection algorithms (AI-based machine learning).

Child Protection Intelligence Platform (CPIP)

We have started providing installation, consulting and verification testing services in Japan for the Child Protection Intelligence Platform (CPIP), a data analysis platform for local government and public institutions which are engaged in the handling and coordination of information and data related to children. This platform uses cutting-edge technologies such as business intelligence (BI) and AI to provide risk analysis and propose support measures; its alert function enables collaboration between all people engaged in providing support for children, resulting in better ongoing support. We aim to use digital technology to achieve a child-friendly society in Japan where no child is left behind.

EY wavespace is an environment that empowers problem-solving by clients and provides experiences that inspire innovation. At its core are human resources and business results. With people-centric design and collaboration at the core of our methodology, we engage in discussions with our clients while encouraging their creativity to support them in examining issues and developing solutions. In FY23, we provided a learning experience that helps children explore the way that they think by combining reasoning with design thinking to pursue better solutions. This initiative was carried out as part of Ripples, EY’s global CR program.
