Marcus is a Partner with EY’s Strategy and Transactions business and Partner Sponsor for Diversity & Inclusion.
As Partner Sponsor for D&I, Marcus leads EY’s D&I steering committee, who are responsible for the implementation of the firm’s strategy. He has over 15 years of transaction experience across a number of sectors including Technology, Financial Services, Food and Agriculture as well as Hospitality and Leisure.
Having worked on a significant number of deals, Marcus has the skills and expertise to support clients through the transaction process.
Additionally, Marcus has a deep understanding of financial due diligence, working capital reporting, modelling reviews, cost reduction, strategic analysis and internal audit.
Prior to joining EY in Dublin, Marcus worked as a Strategy and Planning Senior Manager at a major Irish bank. He also spent a year working in the CEO’s office in the same bank. Marcus has cultivated technical knowledge in providing transaction support and informal restructuring advice to banks, financial institutions and equity investors.
A Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ireland, Marcus is also a licensed insolvency practitioner with Charted Accountants Ireland. Marcus has a bachelor’s degree in International Commerce with German from University College Dublin.
