Gary is Director in EY Ireland, specialising in Operational Excellence.
In a career spanning over 14 years, Gary has experience in Pharma, Consumer Goods, Industrial and Automotive Manufacturing, Healthcare and Public Sector.
Starting out in industry, following a Masters in Supply Chain Management from Smurfit, UCD, Gary worked in the Automotive Sector in Supply Chain and later as a full time 6 Sigma Black Belt. Gary moved into consulting in 2014 and has gained significant international experience working with manufacturing clients across Europe, Australia and North America.
With a 6 Sigma Black Belt and keen interest in Industry 4.0, Gary is supporting clients deliver both Lean and Digital transformations.
How Gary is building a better working world
Gary leads our Operational Excellence offering for Ireland. During this time he has designed the OpEx Realised solution for helping clients across sectors achieve short, medium and long term improvements in productivity and cost whilst sustaining improvements through culture and engagement. Gary has recently supported clients on the adoption of Industry 4.0 to help achieve improvements in productivity and cost. Gary regularly contributes to thought leadership in the area of Operational Excellence and speaks at events and webcasts on the subject. Gary is also a committee member for a Lean Network of professionals in Ireland.
