Dermot is an Audit Partner with EY Ireland and delivers international audits to many of the larger Ireland-based multinational groups, including those listed on the FTSE 100. He also serves as the head of student recruitment for EY Ireland.
Experienced in helping deliver complex internal control and risk management engagements, Dermot is seasoned in resolving complex accounting issues, including consolidation accounting, equity transactions, stock-based compensation and acquisitions.
His extensive specialist experience of International Financial Reporting Standards and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission reporting has helped him harness deep technical knowledge in working with companies to integrate leading global internal control practices and techniques in a practical and effective way.
Dermot holds a master’s degree in Accounting from University College Dublin and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
