David Martin
David is focused on finding solutions for his clients with a range of lenders from Banks to the ever-increasing Alternative Lenders in Ireland and the UK.
As Head Debt Advisory in EY Ireland, David works with all sectors of business in advising them on their appropriate debt structures. David is passionate about the delivery of long-term value to EY’s clients and building long term relationships with all stakeholders in the business community.
David advises all types of companies in raising the most flexible, appropriate and competitive debt package from a range of Irish & International Banks & Alternative Lenders.
David spent 10 years working as a Senior Lender in Banking where he gained significant lending and restructuring experience leading teams in Business, Property and Corporate lending.
Since leaving Banking in 2014, David has worked for another large auditing firm as a Debt Advisory Director on some of the largest transactions in the Irish Market, in sectors including; large private companies, PLC’s, hospitality and numerous Real Estate Investment and Development Projects.
David had previously trained in EY and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, holds a B.A. in Economics from UCD.

David believes in building a better working world by helping all types of businesses raise an appropriate debt package which is unique to them and which allows businesses to expand and unlock their potential in both the Irish and International markets. David strongly believes in long term relationships with all stakeholders and the importance of working with a range of businesses from PLCs to SMEs.
