The Master Thesis Mentoring Program
Would you like to be mentored by experienced consultants within your research field and develop skills that will help you plan, write and defend your master thesis?
EY’s Master Thesis Mentoring Program spans from the beginning of your thesis process to the ending of your thesis defense. We pair you with an experienced consultant who has industry knowledge and expertise within your chosen research field.
You decide if you want to write your master thesis in collaboration with a case company or keep it purely theoretical. However, if you wish to collaborate with a case company, we expect you to establish contacts in the company yourself.
What we offer:
- Access to relevant insights, methodologies, and a large network of experts within your research field.
- Appointment of an associated mentor that will challenge your thought process and provide insights to your problems and solutions.
- Courses in advancing your skills and techniques — from planning your thesis to presenting your findings concisely.
About you
You are motivated by solving complex problems and are eager to apply your analytical skills to real-world problems. You also possess an innovative approach to finding solutions. But most importantly, we expect you to be passionate and ambitious about your chosen project.

Therefore, we welcome students from all Danish universities — irrespective of whether you have a background in technology, cybersecurity, economics, engineering, communication, data analytics or something completely different.

The program will officially start at the beginning of 2024. Please submit your application as soon as possible as we are continuously working with candidate selection. You can choose one topic or a combination of topics from the list in the drop-down menu. When applying, please send your CV and application (maximum one page) answering the following three questions:

Question 2: What are your career aspirations once you finalize your master’s degree? Why is consultancy and EY interesting to you?
