Jack oversees all business functions of EY in Greater China, managing 34 offices and over 23,000 employees in the region to offer clients professional services that help them navigate this transformative age, as the future is being reframed. 

With over three decades of experience in financial services consulting and auditing, his area of knowledge spans from listing reporting, due diligence to consulting services for Chinese, Asian and European financial institutions.

Jack previously led the EY Greater China financial services teams - providing audit, tax, consulting, and merger and acquisition advisory services with respect to restructuring, inbound foreign investment and Initial Public Offerings.

Jack is an active member in the community in both Hong Kong and mainland China. Currently, he is a member of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPCCC). In Hong Kong, he serves at various government advisory committees including the Exchange Fund Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the Standing Committee on Directorate Salaries and Conditions of Service and the Standing Committee on Company Law Reform. He also chairs the Process Review Committee under the Payment Systems and Stored Value Facilities Ordinance in Hong Kong and the Financial & Treasury Services Committee of The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce and serves as an advisor of Our Hong Kong Foundation.

Jack is also a keen advocate of the Belt & Road Initiative, the Greater Bay Development Plan and other economic initiatives that will help promote sustained development in the region. He was appointed as an Accounting Advisory Expert by the Ministry of Finance of the People’s Republic of China and as an investment advisor to Guangdong Province and Shenzhen.
