Dennis Anthony H. Uy

Dennis Anthony Uy is bringing high-speed, high-capacity internet to millions of Filipinos.

With about 2,000 inhabited islands, the Philippines presents a uniquely challenging environment for internet connectivity, with a population that spends more time online per day than any other. Dennis Anthony H. Uy sees it as his mission to deliver unserved and underserved Filipinos with world-class digital connectivity.  

Dennis unites his passion for technology and community service through Converge ICT Solutions. The company has around 2 million customers, and its fiber optic network spans over 390,000 miles to reach customers in many outlying regions.  

He cofounded Converge with his wife, Maria Grace Uy, in 2007 and now serves as its CEO. With a BS in Electrical Engineering from Holy Angel University in Pampanga, Dennis is the only CEO of a major Philippine internet company with a tech background.  He leads several other technology firms in the Philippines and acquired a stake in Silicon Valley-based AI-driven cybersecurity solutions provider Axiado Corp. where he now sits as a Board Member.

With over 1.8 million Filipinos living overseas, the internet is a crucial lifeline for many families. For Dennis, digital connectivity is not a privilege but a right that everyone should have access to, and he tries to make this a reality for Filipinos every day.
