Nicolas is the Head of Assurance and a Partner at EY in Romania and Moldova. Previously, he worked for over 30 years at EY in France where he had various responsibilities both at regional and national level in the field of HR and business development.
His specific area of expertise is the audit of consolidated financial statements under IFRS and US GAAP. Nicolas is a seasoned auditor of listed companies and Romanian and French branches of multinational companies. During his 30 years with the firm he has been significantly involved for more than two thirds of his activity in international environments.
Other areas of expertise also include: IFRS conversion projects (for more than 10 groups) due diligence engagements (both in France and overseas for a very significant number of companies), Sox 404 conversion projects (for 4 non-audit clients), Initial Public offering (IPO) assistance for several clients and some Fraud Investigation and Dispute Services. He was involved in a High Yield bond offering and an Offering on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Main clients are in the range of 200 Mi to 1.200 Mi Euros turnover.
He Graduated at the SKEMA Business School Sophia Antipolis (MBA). He is Chartered Accountant and Statutory Auditor.
