Gelu is currently the CESA FAAS Leader - Central, Eastern and Southern Europe & Central Asia and Financial Services leader in Romania and is holding both roles since 2015. With more than 21 years of experience in advisory services, audit and banking, Gelu started his career as a broker on the equities market and worked for seven years in banking as Head of Asset and Liability Management and Deputy CFO. He rejoined the firm in 2011 as a Partner.
His specific area of expertise are Finance, Assets and Liabilities Management, Credit Risk Management and audit.
Gelu has a degree in Management and a master degree from the Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest, and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
