Michiel van de Velde specializes in the full tax spectrum surrounding transactions with a focus on private equity. He supports clients on due diligence on both the buy and sell side, as well as with international structuring support for acquisitions, divestitures, refinancings and IPOs. He also advises portfolio companies with post-acquisition strategy, structure maintenance and discussions with tax authorities.
Michiel has more than 15 years of M&A tax experience and has been with EY since 2021. Prior to that, Michiel was a partner in the M&A tax practice of another big four firm. Michiel studied International Tax Law at Utrecht University.
