Loes Andringa helps financial organizations to create value through data & analytics. In particular, she provides support to insurers on a wide range of issues.
She studied econometrics at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, followed by postdoctoral studies in actuarial sciences at the Actuarial Institute (obtaining the qualification Actuarial Society Actuary, or AGG). Loes has been working at EY since 2004.
“How do you use data to help your customers live healthier lives? Or how do you establish more efficient reporting processes that save money, while at the same time meeting regulatory requirements? These are complex questions, but I enjoy investing my energy in them. And yes, the result is important, but the journey is equally important. I believe in close cooperation, especially with clients. We’re not simply individual EY employees, we form a team with our clients.”
How Loes is building a better working world
“At EY, we work mainly with young professionals. Smart, enthusiastic people, with an enormous drive to work together. EY stands out in this respect. Young colleagues attach great importance to social value, for example; they want to be useful to society. Their drive keeps me sharp and renews my energy.”
