Hubert Franke is responsible within EY for corporate & public real estate management and transactions in real estate practice. He supports organizations with real estate issues throughout the lifecycle - from draft to demolition or redevelopment. He manages teams on large projects for owners, investors, developers and users.
He studied Economics at the University of Groningen and has been working at EY since 2007. He has been active in the real estate market since 1994 and used to be the owner of a medium-sized real estate agency. In addition to his work at EY, he also gives guest lectures at, among others, Nyenrode Business University, and is also an assessor for the REV qualification (Recognized European Valuer) at TEGoVa (The European Group of Valuers' Associations).
“Thanks to my varied background, I’m aware of all the sides of the equation and, as a result, know exactly what my client needs, whatever the issue. Whether it’s a real estate deal, real estate management, risk management or exploiting opportunities.”
How Hubert is building a better working world
“My personal motto is that I want to make things better for the next generations. More productive, smarter or happier, for example. I’m keen to share knowledge and take young colleagues along to visit the client as soon as possible. And I also find it’s important to celebrate success with the team and the client. The fact that EY is playing at “Champions League” level makes the work even more pleasant. I still enjoy going to work every day.”
