As EY Global Digital Law Leader, Peter oversees more than 130 IP/IT lawyers. He focuses on data privacy law and is acting as external data privacy officer for major clients. In his projects, he aims to combine legal knowledge with operational implementation of privacy frameworks.
Peter is also a partner at Ernst & Young Law GmbH Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft for EY Law services in Germany and has more than 20 years’ experience in the fields of IT, intellectual property and data privacy law.
He started his career with the Bavarian government as expert for media policy. Following that, he worked as a strategy consultant and led a US IP/IT law practice. Peter has worked with clients in the tech, telco, automotive, consumer products, pharma and financial services industries.
Peter earned a PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich.
