EY/Ethics Hotline
The EY/Ethics Hotline is a method for reporting conduct that may be unethical, illegal, in violation of professional standards, or otherwise inconsistent with the EY Global Code of Conduct. The hotline may be used for whistleblowing and whistleblowers as per Act No. 171/2023 Coll., on protection of whistleblowers – in such case please choose to restrict access to your report to local member firm ethics team only.
Before contacting EY/Ethics, we encourage you to consider whether or not you can directly raise your concern with someone at EY.
If you do not feel comfortable doing so, or do not know whom to contact, you can make a report to EY using the EY/Ethics Hotline (online or by telephone), which also includes information about how EY will respond to your report.
Your web-based report will be routed initially to EthicsPoint, an independent third-party host for the EY/Ethics Hotline. It will then be promptly forwarded by EthicsPoint to the appropriate Quality & Risk Management personnel or internal legal counsel at EY for review and investigation. Calls to EY/Ethics Hotline may be answered by EthicsPoint or by EY hotline personnel, depending on the country of contact. EY/Ethics Privacy Notice is available here.
Breaches or suspected breaches in the abovementioned areas can also be reported, without fear of retaliation or delay, by sending an email to ethics@cz.ey.com – which is accessed by EY responsible persons for the acceptance and monitoring of reporting – Gabriela Grezlova and Michael Shaheen from our legal department, or by calling telephone No. 800144560 available 24/7.
Should you wish to report any issue related to money laundering or financing of terrorism, please contact directly our AML Officer at aml.officer@cz.ey.com.
Should you wish to make a report in person, you may request so at any of the above mentioned channels and we shall arrange such a meeting within 14 calendar days following your request.
An external report for breaches of the EU legislation falling within the framework of the Whistleblowing Legislation, may be submitted directly to the Ministry of Justice of the Czech Republic:
