As EY Belgium Assurance Partner and trusted audit professional, Eef serves large multinational and quoted clients in the consumer products, health care, technology and mining & metals sector. She has a very strong experience in auditing reporting packages prepared in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP, and is very familiar with shared service center concepts, both in the fields of financial reporting and internal controls.
Eef specifically focuses on the coordination and audit of consolidated financial statements and in auditing and advising Belgian based groups. She also has a solid expertise in special legal engagements (carve-outs, contributions in kind, liquidations, mergers) as well as with reporting to audit committees and to workers councils.
Eef is also an appreciated audit instructor and lecturer.
Eef holds a master’s degree in Business Economics (majoring in Accounting and Auditing) from the University of Ghent and is a Belgian Certified Public Accountant.
