Christel leads the Assurance practice for the Financial Services in Belgium.
She has broad experience in leading audit and providing extended assurance services to multinational and national clients mainly banks, insurance companies and asset managers.
She has in-depth knowledge of the regulatory framework for the Real Estate sector and extensive experience working for and with regulators.
She has developed broad experience in due diligence, IFRS conversions, regulatory reviews and SoX 404 audits in the financial sector in Belgium.
Christel is Certified Public Accountant and Auditor
accredited by the Belgian regulator for the audit of
financial institutions and insurance companies and by the FSMA for the audit of (pension) funds, asset managers and GVV/SIR.
She has a master’s degree in Applied Economics from the
Catholic University of Leuven and a master’s degree in Computer Audit from UFSIA Management School.
