Eric Van Hoof, partner at EY, underlines the importance of this recognition: “As a partner responsible for the family business division, I am deeply impressed by the crucial role these companies play in our economy. Family businesses are not only a backbone of employment, but also essential players in sustainable growth and prosperity. With their contribution to the social and economic development of our society, their added value extends beyond financial profit. It is admirable to see how Sioen, VPK Group and Ziegler distinguish themselves by their commitment to family values, their long-term vision, and their ability to create and retain jobs.
